To aid her father in solving perplexing cases, Susumi Fuji assumes the name Maboroshi Panty.

Takafumi's uncle has woken up from a 17-year coma and come back to life. However, Takafumi discovers some odd quirks about his uncle: his passion for video games and his heroic role as a defender in another world during his unconsciousness. Takafumi faces the challenge of cohabiting with a wizard-like uncle and acquainting him with technological advancements such as smartphones, lightning-fast internet, current anime trends, and the fierce disputes of gaming consoles during the 90s.
