Palepoli goes beyond the framework of standard four-panel manga and views its structure in new ways. Actually, Furuya knew nothing of conventional manga styles and methods when he started Palepoli. As a result, he created something that bore little similarity to other manga. Furuya notes that he selects his subject matter and methods with clear and precise intentions. I find it extremely rare for a manga artist to be this deliberate. A portion of Palepoli was featured in Secret Comics Japan.
From SCX-Scans: Though it was a bit strange, three people ended up meeting. One, who looks younger than her age and able to see the supernatural. Another who is possessed by a "Yamanko" which refers to "Yama no ko", or a mountain child. She was possessed due to her bloodline and due to the possession, she has superhuman abilities which she can call upon. Finally, an awkward person who enjoys writing poems. Coincidentally, the three are also classmates.

Enter Miyamoto, the faithful butler of princess Apricot, who’s actually a super sadist and possesses superhuman butler powers. Together with various other companions they set out to conquer the world – or at least to mess up princess Apricot’s daily life!
