Akihisa Yoshii attends Fumizuki Academy, a distinguished institution that employs unconventional teaching methods including the Placement Exam. This system utilizes student scores to determine class placement, with Class A representing the cream of the crop and Class F indicating the weakest learners. The higher the class rank, the greater the privileges and luxurious amenities awarded to its members. To his dismay, Yoshii is assigned to the lowly Class 2-F and is even designated the class dunce. The Summoner Test War, a critical school event, takes center stage utilizing advanced technology to allow students to summon and battle creatures against rival classes in pursuit of their assets. In the comedic series entitled Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu!, Yoshii and his 2-F classmates engage in these epic clashes against other classes, determined to claw their way to the top.
At Fumidzuki Academy, classes are separated by academic achievement. The smartest kids are in A Class, while the dumbest are in F Class. This chronicles the daily life of the students in F Class. Instead of grades, they have to worry about homosexual stalkers, crushes, ambiguous genders, and waging academic war on the upper classes!
Based on a popular light novel. from Baka-Updates Manga: The protagonist is a guy who is among the stupidest of the stupidest in the school. When fellow classmate Hitagi Senjougahara falls down the stairs and is caught by Araragi, the boy realizes that the girl is unnaturally weightless. Despite Senjougaharaprotests, Araragi insists he help her, deciding to enlist the aid of Oshino, the very man who had once helped him with his own predicament. Through several tales involving demons and gods, Bakemonogatari follows Araragi as he attempts to help those who suffer from supernatural maladies.
